VMEA works to provide equitable access to incredible life changing musical experiences for students and teachers in Virginia.  VMEA supports students and teachers through professional development, performance assessment events, honor ensemble opportunities, awards, scholarships, preprofessional teacher development, and music education advocacy for all in Virginia.
