Article I - Name
The name of the organization shall be the Virginia Music Educators Association, Inc. (VMEA)
Article II - Purpose
Section 1 - Purpose
The purpose of the Virginia Music Educators Association, Inc. (VMEA) is to provide support to its membership and to promote the advancement of music education through schools and other educational institutions.
Section 2 - Affiliation
It is a federated state unit of The National Association for Music Education (NAfME).
