The Council for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is seeking a diverse group of members to serve on the Council.  The DEI Council will serve as a resource for members and a lens for VMEA to view issues surrounding diversity, inclusion, and equity in regards to our policies, procedures, and practices.

Interested members should email Ashley Cuthbertson, Council Chair, with your interest. In your email, please include the following items:

• a brief statement about why you are interested in serving on the council
• your previous background/training/experience in this work
• your VMEA section (general music, band, orchestra, choral, higher education, administration, collegiate, guitar), and
• where you are located (city/county and VMEA district).
