Due to the current state of performance during the pandemic, VMEA will not be offering the Blue Ribbon Award for this year (2020-21). While we know that in spite of these times there is still pursuit of great music-making across the Commonwealth, programs will most likely not have the opportunity to pursue assessment performances in the usual manner. VMEA has every intent of awarding Blue Ribbon status for next year as we hope to return to in-person music making then.
